After defeating 8 other team including there SPCS rivals the Florida Outlaws and sending them home empty handed, Team NLR went on to the finals against Annihilator too, a well respected team in a league that we have never played in before.
The first round was hard both teams would not give an inch a ton of paint in the air, when it all cleared Team NLR had lost there first round. Now it was win or go home.
In a race to 2 if you loss 2 out of three games it is over. NLR gets ready on the gate for round 2, horn blows and NLR dominates the field for a quick win over the Annihilators, things are looking good for the boys from south Florida, a team that nobody knows, and other teams doubted would even make the semi finals.
Now it's the third and final game after 6hr of fighting to get to his point it all comes down to one game.
Team NLR as good sportsmen that they are go and shake the hand of there opponents before the start of the last game.
Both teams had to be tired, but they each had one more game in them. Horn blows both teams come out hard, paint is every were.
It's a five on five, at least 2 minutes go by then 5 on 4, then what felt like for ever it's 3 on 3, and then 2 on 1, game over.
Team NLR Takes a well deserved 2nd place against some of the best paintball players in the State of Florida.

Team NLR Takes Second Place at The Southern paintball Championship Series Round one Event number 2

Congratulation to Team NLR for an outstanding performance at the SPCS with a dramatic second place finish.
After playing 11 games and only losing 3 it came down to 20 points between first and second place in the final round of event 2 of the SPCS.

In the Preliminary rounds Team NLR had a slow start losing the first game of the event, but after that they dominated the rest of the preliminary rounds by winning the next 5 games with with amazing speed over the rest of the field and taking 1st place to put them in to the finals.

The top 6 teams went in to the finals not knowing they would have to play on two different field. After a long break between the preliminarily round and the finals Team NLR was first to play on the second field which the had

not played on all day. The first round was hard getting off to a slow start Team NLR fought to say alive but loss there second game of the day. After shaking off there first loss in the finals it was GAME ON and in dominating fashion went on to win the next 3 games of the finals bringing  them to the last game between The Florida Outlaws and Team NLR.

The Florida outlaws new they had to come out with guns blazing because Team NLR had dominated most of the day with speed and accuracy. At the start of the last and final game the Florida Outlaws were able to take out 2 of the five NLR players off the break leaving only 3 player against 5. Team NLR battled back to bring the number to 3 on 3. With a sacrifice run up from one of the team NLR players bring the number to 2 on 2. Florida Outlaws took advantage of this moment and were able to first eliminate the middle back player on Team NLR and the the last player winning the event.

Hats off to the Florida Outlaws for a job well done.

And congratulations to Team NLR for there first Top finish in the SPCS not bad for a new Team and only there second regional event!

With 110 votes in to date and the outcome being 90 yes to 20 no, the SPCS has agreed to adopt the new Universal Classification Program. This is an awesome change and we are very happy to be a part of this.
What this means to you...
CONSISTENT CLASSIFICATIONS
Currently, every league in the country has its own set of rules, using various classification titles (Beginner, Rookie,Novice, Advanced, Amateur, etc) that have no consistent meaning. This is confusing to players and makes it difficult to classify players that play in more than one league, and almost impossible for players in different geographies to compare themselves with each other. By participating in the Universal Classification Program, your players will have a much easier time understanding their classification, and be able to compare themselves to other players nationwide.
NATIONWIDE STANDINGS
While many leagues maintain their own season standings, and may continue to do so under the Universal Classification Program, the context of those rankings is limited to the area the league operates. By adopting the Universal Classification Program, your players are rewarded with ranking points that let them see their ranking amongst all teams in the country.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Universal Classification Program is designed to integrate with PSP Classifications. This allows the PSP World Cup to double as the National Championship.
SEASON CHAMPIONS
Each season will end with the crowning of a Season Champion for each sanctioned division of play, based on the ranking points teams earn in your league plus the National Championship at World Cup. Teams will thus have the opportunity to not only be the best team in your league, but to be the best team in the country. Your teams will attract attention to your league, especially if they place in the top of the standings.

The SPCS will still have the Beginners bracket which will now be D5, the Rookies bracket which will now be D4, and we will have a Open bracket for Novice and Amateur D3 & D2, and the Masters.
Masters and D4 will play on Saturdays and D5 and Open will play on Sunday.
Though the 1st event will not count towards your Regional points, this upcoming event on Feb 28 & Mar 1 and all events forward will.
